Wonderful to see a wagon! Ford "owned" the wagon market for years so I love seeing one of the reasons why. I wish you luck, it looks like a challenging paint job ahead. Thanx!

I got a little more done on the longroof this weekend. The 312 is finished and set in the frame and I attached the wheels and tires to check overall sit and stance. That about finishes up the chassis. I used the more detailed air cleaner from the AMT Fairlane 500 kit and I was concerned about hood clearance. A quick mock up shows it fits! I also sprayed a little Alclad chrome on the dash and steering wheel.

Not much more progress to report. It's been packed away in the box while I've been spending my limited modeling time screwing around with other, older projects trying to get them finished.

ahh , well I will be waiting. I was thinking about this today...I almost could have bought an original unbuilt about a week ago..but I didn't cuz I thought it was going to sell for more than it did....and it was on ebay via a local friend. ugh...MEARDA! happens.

Yeah I know that feeling well. I've let quite a few slip away for that reason. I'll get back on this one once I get two other stalled projects finished.

We all regret lost "bargains," but as long as they find good homes and aren't bought to "flip" for outlandish markups, it's good for the hobby. Wide dispersal of the models old and new helps us all by keeping the hobby alive. Your engine on the wagon looks fantastic, thanx!
