With your touch, Ron, this will be majorly cool, I'm sure! My next planned build will be similar.

Thnx for the comments. It was the first time for me for lowering a chassis and its was a hell of job I`m thinking now to reinforce the places where I have made the modifications with thin plastic sheet, just for sure that the car Will not collapse when its done Ron

I have done some more work on the hotratrod lately mostly putty work I have replaced al the weld seams? and dripping rails ( those strips above the doors) those in the kit sucks they are all different and damaged on some places. Painted the motor in the body color in case it going to be a show rod instead of a Rat. Scribe new panel lines for the doors and off coarse with the last line its going wrong I hope the body turns out well when its gets his last layer of primer for a show rod. Here are some progress shots. The never ending story continues ;D Ron

nice chop and good idea about removing the trim and putting it back on! Ron are you a member of my other forum? It's all about this style of rod you are building and i bet the guys would love to see your 1/8 scale roadster! trakinscale.proboards105.com/index.cgi

And Yes I`m a lurking member there but I don't will post anything there because I build my models my way. Let me explain why, First I don't know what exactly is time related correct, and I`m not happy when I post something that is 99.99% correct but its got deleted because there is a modern part on it. Off course nothing wrong with that but I build my car models just for fun and my way. But back on topic, I hope that the body gets smooth enough for a show rod with a nice shinny paint job Ron

PS....your latest 40s style motorcycle would fit right in too! OH and this '31 you are working on.....fits right in! LOL

Today I have found some time to paint the hotratrod (must think for a other name now) Its painted in Auto Air metallic red, after this is dry I paint it over with Auto air Candy Red. And I`m thinking of painting the frame in Aclad Chrome, I think this a nice combination Ron
