I have started on a Revell Nomad 1957. It will be build as a customized delivery. All emblems and doorhandles are sanded. I will let the putty dry a few months before I start the paintjob. I have much more sanding to do. There will be little changes in the front to get away the "heavy" feeling of original-bumper. Johnny

Looks like a nice project. But, Johnny, if you can get Bondo or some other kind of auto body filler that is mixed with a hardner, I sure advise giving that a try. You can be working with that within the hour that you apply it. I just stripped an OLD glubomb that had some green type of filler under the paint...and a good portion of it was still soft!

Thanks Geezerman for the advise. I will look after that and give it a try. I get some parts for the front today so now can I start with that. New pictures will come when I has done some more.

Time for a small update. I have worked on the front. At first I was going to use AMT´s customfront but that´s in 1:25 scale and my Revell is a 1:24 scale. I decided to go back to the originalbumper. It had big mouldinglines as I sanded and cut out the grill. Found perfect customheadlights in the Buick Electra ´62, as I have glued in place in the grill. I will have the bodycolour on the bumper. And a picture how it´s gonna look. I use AMT´s custom headlights. I hope to do a new update soon. I have planned to start with the interior next. Thanks for looking. Johnny

it needs 55 olds front end That´s a good idea. I don´t have any Olds parts but I will search in my parts, and then I will see what I can find. It will come a update with pictures, maybe later this week. I have not had so much time to build as I want. Johnny

New update. I have the interior almost ready. The instrumentpanel will be in bodycolor. I found the perfect wheels in Revells ´65 Chevy Stepside Pickup. A test with chassie and wheels. The front suspension will be lowered. Thanks for looking. Johnny
