I started this while waiting on the panelrod's paint. This is the very crappy Lindberg 40 coupe that's in with the new Dodge flatbed truck. making a salt flats racer out of it. Set the engine back in the frame. I need the room for the mods I'm planning on the flathead.

The chop looks good but just what are you planning for that motor that you need that much room for???

Body is waiting for the first paint session, Another experiment that can go wrong. ) I have the killer Flathead almost ready to unveil. This is turning out great. I have the interior pretty well along. So this too, is pretty much waiting on the paint shop. I like to name my builds and will be sub-naming this thing, "Lindberg's Afterbirth". I think the molds used were way past their usable life span and Lindberg retrieved them out of a dumpster somewhere and threw the castings in with the Dodge truck to make us gullible idiots think the kit would be worth almost thirty bucks.

Ta dah! Flathead from hell. Crank driven blower: Igor, my shop assistant welded those roll bars, but I'm the genius that plumbed the injector lines directly to the firewall.

I mentioned in TRAK that I almost liked this better in primer. I'm not too enthralled the way this turned out. These are paints left over from painting my SIL's motorcycle. HOK mini 'flake, HOK candy blue and a 'homade' candy red. He wanted flake flames tipped in candy red over the Yamaha black.. He had a local body shop mix him a red. We didn't like the color and it wasn't translucent enough. He then had a local auto paint supplier mix him a candy red. That's what's on this model. We didn't like this red either for the same reasons. After looking at HOK color charts we decided on the oriental candy blue. This turned out awsome over the metalflake Finish fotos were e-mailed to Bob yesterday to be put in the fotki album. They ain't made it yet, but will soon probably.

So the silver is just the HOK silver base coat..........cool. As for the pics, you can also send them to me ( moparmarc68@yahoo.com ) and I can get them loaded as well so you don't have to wait till Monday when Bob gets back from Toledo.
