I just have to share this score I got today at the local church yard sale. There was a young kid (20 or so) that was selling his late grandfathers stuff and I got these from him. He said he had about 8 more at home but didn't think anyone would buy these so he is bringing the rest next week.... Of course I'll be there bright and early. He sold the 50 cent ones because they were not factory sealed.

Nice haul buddy. Would you be interested in trading the grumpy's vega and/or the Sox & Martin duster prostocker? ? Please let me know. Thank you.... Virgil

Ok, as I told you I would return to the church and see if he brought the rest of the models and he did. It's not as good as a score as the first time but who's complaining. Total cost for all 8 kits was $10 but all I had was a $20 so I told him to donate it to the church. All but 2 of the kits are still factory sealed. I don't know if you can see the stickers but here is what they use to sell for back in the day. ZZ Top= $6.25 VW Street Machine= $5.99 Little Red Wagon= $7.95 VW Rubber Duck= $3.19 Mopar Missile= $3.95 Roadrunner= $2.50

Well, three great track burners in the first lot, two in the last and one in the last that can become one!! Most of the others are cool too. If stickers on first are any thing to go by, that means the whole lot for about $25. Can not go wrong there at all!! At least he was smart enough to sell them instead of throwing them away! Jody
