This is where you can preview and buy the magazine. Click on the magazine to do either of those. koolkat.magcloud.com/There was a huge announcement and I am sure many of you heard already, but just in case....ORDER ONE UP! Help support a good thing QUOTE from Don himself today.... "Well, I wish this news would have come three weeks ago. I just found out 3 hours ago the company that is handling my magazine is giving a pretty good TEMPORARY discount on all of the magazines they handle, including Kustom & Hot Rod Models. This comes out of the cost they charge for printing (not 'my end'), no matter who orders it. But it's only until the end of August. I know, I wish I would have known earlier this was coming up, as I've done several bulk orders in the meanwhile. But the good news is anybody that has not ordered yet will save. Now is your opportunity to pick up your first copy if you hadn't ordered it yet, or a couple extra for your buddies, or for resale. Remember, the discount is only temporary. It would be appreciated if somebody would post this news on Spotlight Hobbies forum and other forums. I would, but they might consider it 'advertising' from me, but NEWS from you?! Also, this discount applies ONLY to online orders! "

Thanks for the heads-up. I don't know why I wasn't notified, I subscribed to it and they're suppose to email me when a new issue comes out. Hi thumb, I do the magazine, however magcloud is my printer/distributor/mailer for online magazine orders, except for issues that are mail ordered directly from me. I'd like to ask you to email me at kustomandhotrodmodelsmag@gmail.com with the specifics of how you were supposed to be notified. Did you only click the 'notify me' button? Were you asked to become a 'member' of magcloud? Did you sign up for an RSS feed? (I don't really understand an RSS feed, but I did sign up for it, and it shows up on my personal 'My Yahoo', the internet location I specified), or any other type of message from magcloud. If you give me specifics, I can check with magcloud's customer service. Thanks! And, I don't do actual annual subscriptions yet with the magazine (I'm considering it for next year). All magazine purchases are solely by the individual copy. In each issue, I do put an approximate date the following issue will be available online. I could use your help with this. Also, if anybody else felt they were supposed to receive email updates and did or didn't receive them. If I don't know about a circumstance, I can't do anything about it. Thanks! Don

Thanks! Those that want to be notified right away can now sign up online - where the magazine is sold to be emailed via Magcloud's new messaging system. Click on 'follow magazine' and you'll be emailed when there is any kind of news for readers. I've tested it, and it works great, Thanks to those that responded to that first message/email.
And, the RSS feed also works.

Sorry forgot to mention......I got mine days ago lol It's fricken' awesome! I really like the Black Widow articles, John Seffl's Misfit article is great too! Lot's to love about it, what can be better than this? John Gosche's "Back in the day" article was cool too! Show coverage, Staffan's diorama....much to see and read! I got the cover with the small fink, the Merc is too cool with the figures.

I'm computer impaired I'd love to get all the model car mags I can afford but 10.00 bucks a pop is a little steep for my disability chequeplus I'd rather get a mag in the mail I can sit down and read. and of course ha ha look at the pictures and figure out how I can build stuff. This is all referring to the new online I guess it is magizine Thanks

This is all referring to the new online I guess it is magizine Thanks The magazine is expensive because it is printed by expensive print on demand digital printing. Yes, it is a hold in your hand magazine - full color. Much more color than the other magazines. In July, it was the magazine's first birthday Many (not all) of the models/modelers featured are from TRAK and DP... And the magazine is now globally available from the website. If you have an I-PAD, you can download the 'Extra' issue to your computer for free! All the rest are hold in your hand printed copies.
