gbk1, the chassis is from a late model funny car that I cut at the firewall and shortened the front--a lot. Scratched the perches for the front axle and scratched the shocks. The body was a resin pc. from Altered States. I cut away alot in the rear section, and smoothed the cowl to give it a more modern look. Thanks guys. Drew

Thanks for all the comments. The wheels were a resin set a freind gave me-torque thrust 2's. the hood started life from the Double Whammy kit but I cut the front off and flatened it a bit. Have built a couple studebakers-will post a promod soon as I get good pics. Drew

Well, guess I'll post my recently finished (for now) car. Though I painted this car once before, honed my skills doing model cars for about 8 years before tackling this job. All work was done by me and my with help from a long time freind. Its a true SS car with matching #'s 400. We did some mild customizing ie. narrowed rear bumper, used front bumper for a mold and made a fiberglass one. Deleted marker lights, drip rails, and smoothed rear corners, cowl hood is from a 81 Z 28. Paint is Sherwin Williams custom paint line. Seats are out of a luxury foriegn car. We added to a Z-28 console to match up to dash. Now to spend another week cutting/polishing. Drew
