...I know I'll be waiting..any hints on the subjects?? Well the "Little Tub" is next to finish the set , then there are a couple 1/8th Lindberg kits that I'd like to do in 1/24th scale . Now the 'Tub would be epic!

Well there is obviously a whole lot of enthusiasm over these kits, I can see that clearly. jb I just never got one these yet so I can't comment or review. I will be greatly interested in following your build. Will you be doing the Rally car you pictured?

Nice work on the crew and cockpit. Too bad about that pulled up paint, looks like it didn't "bite" into the sub surface.

If you want small, quirky and outright laughably non-aggressive, check out my recently acquired 1/20 Subaru Rex Combi! Don’t tell me I don’t bring you the weirdness in spades! Indeed. Now you need a Yugo, VW Rabbit(even thought this was moderately successful) and a Renault LeCar to compliment that one. That is if you already have them!

Very cool. That big Pontiac V8 looks like it's from a Big Deuce or one of it's variants?

Looking just about perfect! Clever technique there for the trim rings!

Well with your skills it should still be the stuff. I'll be watching as I've been having the urge to build a plane myself.

I've been in a bit of a building slump and busy with other stuff lately so I decided to jump into a go to of mine...another box art build. Sure feels good to be back at the bench again!

Wow this is coming along great Bob. Those front wheels are brilliant. Can you show how you did them? Some of the photos I took of the front wheels weren't very good but I'll post them here for you to see . Since the finished wheel is thicker than the Monogram tire I had to thin everything I could on my sanding pad . The chrome wheels from the '49 Merc were first . Sand to far and the lug nuts and center will fall out . . . I found out the hard way . I was able to poke thru the remaining plastic with a #11 blade to open the four slots . The trim rings are the narrow ones from the Blue Bandito and the backing plate are from my parts box (Little "T" ?) , the backing plates were thinned as much as I could . I don't really like the backing plates but unless I can find some more trim rings I'll use them . The lip on the I.D. of the Monogram tires had to be removed so the wheel would fit all the way into the tire , then the trim rings were glued in place . Thanks Bob! I will be using this technique in the future.
