Nice work! These 57 Fords are a personal favorite of mine. Growing up my father had a Cumberland Green/Colonial White Del Rio and our good neighbor sported a Dresden Blue/Colonial White Fairlane 500 HTP. What a great looking car style wise and your build does it justice.

Awesome Pat! I love all the GT 40s. I've got a MPC MK IV built and a I & II in the stash waiting to be built. Well done on yours.

Interesting additions Bob, don't think I've ever seen those before, especially the boat. Like John I'd be interested to know about how that rod scales out and if indeed it morphed into the Drag Strip Hot rod. here's another box version of it - When I first saw it this early Revell effort came to mind. This one is close to 1/32 scale, I don't think they are the same kit?

Very cool build idea B. I always liked the Competition Coupes from those days and I agree that Pedregon's was about the best looking of the breed but that chicken Coupe ain't no slouch either! I know you'll nail the vibe of these awesome fuel coupes in your build. Looking forward to it.

This month's winner is Larry Read with his Studebaker race car hauler. Three in a row!

Given those two choices I would go with the Hugger Orange.

Hugger Orange ? I'm thinking good old Testor's Competition Orange , adding drops of Testor's 1203 Gloss red until it looks right?

This looks to be the most challenging of all! Build on... I thought the headers and top for the Little Rod were the most challenging . But the more time I have to think about this one the more I believe you're right ! Well if anyone can superbly pull this off you can! Any thoughts as what paint you'll use to simulate the kit reddish orange color?

I'm making decent progress on it, fresh out of the paint both. I decided to go with Tamiya TS-26 Pure White rattle can. This stuff is bright white, sprays out smooth and dries quick! Now just some foiling and decals and it'll be ready for final assembly.
