Hello guys, I have come to this forum rarely and came across a model car I built couple of years ago.. and was photoshooting models . Thought I would share this one here... I simply changed the type of wheels and lowered the chassis a little... painted in purple candy grape with white . The simple classic hot rod back in the 60s Enjoy

NICE! Sharp and clean build. One nit though...this kit is a '30 Ford "Model A" not a 32. Well done!

Good lookin' hot rod. A few months ago I bought this kit in the most recent re-release as parts kit because of the great wire wheels and optional Guide headlights. Your approach is exactly the one I would take with the balance of the kit in order to salvage those parts.

I then used the grape purple pearl from testors boyds paint. This paint is no longer in stores as they discontinued. Yet, it can be found in the e bay if many of them are selling.

Nicely done! The color is a bit unexpected, but it works very well on this one. Like the overall look with that color, lots of chrome, white interior and whitewall tires. Great work!

I really like everything about this build. Super clean construction, beautiful color, and "TONS" of chrome - A very believable show rod. YOU NAILED IT .
