Love them all but especially for me the Rambler 'vert with the "just right" stance and colors. Ron .

Really nice selection, quite a few of which I seem to have missed. The two blue rods are stand outs for their restrained good taste and simplicity. And right now I'm embarked on a Chaparral, a 2e, just starting the build and knee deep in research. Is the 2a the AMT or the Aurora kit? And the 2c would seem to be a Japanese kit, from LS. I suspect I may build most of the 1/24-1/25 Chaparral eventually. Yors are mighty sweet.

The A is indeed from an old AMT kit..... ...and the C came from this kit, which I assume has Japanese roots as it was at one time motorized. I have an original IMC E in the stash but haven't worked up the courage to tackle that one yet LOL! Please keep us posted on your build.

Thanks B! The A is indeed from an old AMT kit...and the C came from this kit, which I assume has Japanese roots as it was at one time motorized. I have an original IMC E in the stash but haven't worked up the courage to tackle that one yet LOL! The 2E I just started is from the Union re-issue of the IMC kit you have. This style of kit is new to me, with its myriad little detail parts and literal interpretation of the 1:1. The 904 I built last year was like this, too, and they require a different approach than the kitbash & fabrication style I'm used to. But perhaps not that different. While the Monogram Porsche 904 was pretty much a kit build, the ex-IMC Chaparral 2E has a glaring inaccuracy which will require more of a kitbashng approach. The motor in the kit is an injected big block 427 while the real 2E used a small block motor with Weber downdraft carbs. So I'm going to have to land up changing out the motor and adapting the kit transmission and rear suspension. With the NNL West looming in 10 days I may not be able to post a build thread until my return but I'm already into it.
BTW the 2C kit I was referring to is the earlier issue of the same on you posted. They have the same (very cool) box art.
