Hmmmmmm. Let's see what I can do with this mess... I have until this Saturday to finish it so it will be simple and quick, hopefully cool!

Next was to get rid of that goofy(IMHO) spoiler.... I "snapped" it into a bed of super glue. Cut it off then used the uprights as fillers...

That's pretty clever the way you reworked the louver panel. And yeah, ditch that purse handle spoiler thing, way too wonky. Hopefully this will sit way down in the weeds!

A sadly detailed kit. Hope you can do something special with it! I go back to the days when I built the actual "stock" kit!

I don't think I've ever seen this kit being built. So I'm watching this with great interest. Filling the hole on the hood and getting rid of that ugly spoiler were good ideas. The color looks really good too. Can't wait to see how it looks when you're finished.

It's looking good Ron! I bought one of these thinking I could use the top on a '62 Lark. Wouldn't work. I slapped it together and gave it to my son. Last year, he gave it back. Seeing this is giving me some ideas for it.

Looks pretty darn good to me. I like the hood a lot, nice job on the louvers, and good call on the spoiler too. Nice little build. I may have to look into doing a slammer myself.

It turned out very nice. The modifications definitely paid off, creating a much cooler Rambler than if built straight from the box. The louvers on the hood are probably my favorite part of the whole model. Nice work!

Ron's bar got a pretty good plug in there. Oh yah you nailed the Rumbler too.

I knew I had to customize something on it. I can highly recommend a simple build once in a while. They're fun.
