I started this back in January. My goal was to make a car that a high school kid got from grandma. Grandma's only stipulation was that he couldn't alter the look of the car (much) from when she drove it. Some modifications were okay, so he spent all his paper route money on performance parts. Front was lowered and rear raised. About halfway through the build, my wife passed away unexpectedly. Obviously, I put it on hold. I eventually got to the point where I could start working on it again, plus, it was on my kitchen counter for MONTHS and I got tired of seeing it unfinished. I still have a little detailing to go (hub caps need the emblem painted) and a few other things. This was my first attempt at bare metal foil as well. I learned quite a lot on what to do next time. b [/url

Looks great Deuce, Very sorry for your loss. What paint did you use on it? I used Krylon "Outdoor Spaces" copper 42908 followed up with 2K clear. I notice that the metallic particles seem more in scale than many others, including some Testors I've used in the past. Yes, losing my wife was extremely difficult for me. I still have days that are hard to get through. However, I'm making progress. Thanks, guys.

I can't even imagine how bad it feels after a loss like that, so I'm very sorry for it.
The Chevy looks really good. It looks like something I could see at local High School parking lot back in the day. The paint job looks really good and your first attempt at BMF looks much better than mine. Great job.
