Started on a new project Model King/Moebius 69 Ford F100. Doing some modifications to this one [hood, relocating gas tank and lowering]. Started reworking the hood to bring the front down to meet the grille and get rid of the space between the front of the hood and the grille. I filled the hole on the cab for the gas cover. I added the modified gas tank from the 78 Ford truck and carved a fuel door into the back of the bed side like the 73-79 Fords had. Finally started lowering the suspension for the bigger wheels.

Cool idea. Wish u luck. I think the Saleen had one of those Paxton type belt-driven superchargers rather than an exhaust driven one. I could be mistaken however. Anyway, I'm looking forward to something interesting. Let us know about any troubles with the Mobius kit, thanx.

Well I finally got the ride height perfect on it and the body in primer, so I figured I would do a mock up pic. I lowered the front 3mm but left the rear height as is for a hot rod look.

I got the blue on the pkp today and I think I like it better than the green I was going to use. Hopefully tomorrow will get the last color on [metallic charcoal on the side moldings and tailgate] so I can clear it.

I was able to get the chassis buttoned up and the supercharged 351 installed. Also it has scratch built exhaust, rear gas tank from 78 Ford pkp and Brembo 4 wheel disc brakes. Next up get the interior finished.

Interior for the 69 F100 is finished. I kept it mostly stock but used the 71 F100 steering wheel [had a better look for my build], removed the column shifter and added a big stick shift. Interior is simply gray with black.
