Got the door panels painted flat black with stainless metal inserts, will try and get pics of those up tomorrow. Also shaved the frame some more (cut off the front suspension) and figured out atleast part of the rear suspension. I using wheelie bars that I shaved the wheels off of for a triangulated setup, still have to put tabs on the frame and rear end to fit them to and figure out bag placement. Also pretty sure I'm going to use rims off the Cadillac EXT kit

I really like your ideas your Chevy has a nice stance! Maybe a Gibson Hemi Engine would be cool!

A Hemi in a Chevy ugh....lol Those Gibson engines are pretty detailed and nice looking though. I kinda wanna build it like a dream truck and I'm a big Chevy guy and always dreamed of having a corvette motor in a slammed truck. I'll have to check those engines out more though. I think I had the corvette racing motor set to fit in with the air ducts trimmed to the core support. But I have to find what I did with that motor. But thanks for the tip I'm going to look in to the gibson motors more and who knows.

I couldn't find any Gibson motor that weren't chryslers. But I looked up that semi hemi. That thing would look sick in there. Obviously I didn't look to well cause I thought gibson had other motors.

installed the main grille and trimmed the billet grilles for the hood out. Hood still needs some more sanding but the grilles are trimmed to fit

Getting the rear suspension set-up. Using an axle from a *dumb oversized nerd kar*'s kit since I never plan on building a donks (if you can't tuck em f*** em) rear end had a opening in the top so I filled that in and waiting for it to dry up to sand it smooth. Shortened the factory rear bars and moving them to the inside of the chassis. So I trimmed the factory brackets also and plan on attaching them to the frame. Also went over the frame and trimmed off anything that won't be used and filled in holes the I wont be using. Hopefully I can get the rearend finished off and in tomorrow. Thinking on the front I'm using bottom arms like a 60s impala would have (singe bar/arm) and traditional a-arms on top. Will post any progress on it tomorrow.

I've seen cars tuck atleast 30s so I don't see a point in raising. If your gonna raise something to put 24 or so on it then so should be putting 44" tires on it too. But yeah I love big (not outrageously big though) rims on slammed vehicles. That's why I decide on this kit cause I love how you can tuck the front tires and have the top part show with the hood open, but still run it slammed and not have the tires hit anything
