This is a model I built back in my teen years that I can only find parts of now. I was lucky enough to find a friend (thanks Virgil) that had an extra one with the gold chrome like mine was and now I am going to build this one again. I actually started this one about a month ago and then stopped trying to get a good day to shoot the body and frame parts with clear. First pic is of the box: Hosted on FotkiNext couple of pics are of the painted but not cleared body and frame parts. The color is Tamiya Telefonica blue which is a lot darker than it shows in the pics. Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiThe parts in this pic are painted Tamiya semi-gloss black. Hosted on Fotki

This should be a fun build, it's lookin good so far. I remember seeing that kit on the shelves way back when.

Thanks for the comments guys. Bit of an update, I got a couple of coats of clear on it and used Brandie's (17 yr old daughter) camera for some pics and that camera captured the color much better so enjoy. Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiI'm still debating on the decals, there are like 75 decals to put on this little thing

Nice color. Looks well enough without all of the striping, if that's what all of the decals are.

Woah that colour is daggumb nice. I say it will look better without all the striping. The blue should accent the gold nicely

Thanks for the opinions on the decals, think I'm going to go without them for 3 reasons:
1) I hate decals 2) these would be a pain in my buttcheeks to get to look right 3) I am going to be moving soon and I would like to get this one finished before then
